Uninstall Guide
Uninstall AnalyticsGate OnPrem Reporting - versions greater than 6.0
- Open the Windows control panel and select "Programs and Features"
- In the list of programs, select "AnalyticsGate OnPrem Reporting" and click "Uninstall"
Notes
- Alternatively, with new Windows versions you can also go to "Apps und Features"
- In the uninstallation process you can specify whether you want to delete only the program files or all user data
Uninstall AnalyticsGate OnPrem Reporting - versions smaller than 6.0
Uninstalling services
- Navigate to the reporting folder in the AnalyticsGate installation directory (the default should be the Qlik Share directory “C:\QlikShare\Reporting”)
- Start “AGRSupportTools.bat” as an administrator
- In the menu enter the number 4 (“Uninstall Windows service”)
- Uninstall both services (connector and renderer) by entering the numbers 1 and 2
Uninstalling Qlik Entries
1. Removing the analytic connection
- Navigate to the Qlik Management Console
- On the left side select “Analytic connections”
- Delete the “SER” connection
2. Removing the virtual proxy
- Navigate to the Qlik Management Console
- On the left side select “Virtual proxies”
- Delete the “ser” virtual proxy
3. Removing the security rules
- The security rules were not created automatically so below are only the security rules recommended by our installation guidelines
- Navigate to the Qlik Management Console
- On the left side select “Security rules”
- Remove the following security rules: “AG_User”, “AG_Shared_Content”, “AG_On_Demand”, “AG_License”, “AG_Tag”, “AG_Scheduler”.
4. Removing the example applications
- If you have selected “Install Examples” during the installation process, then four Qlik applications were installed
- Navigate to the Qlik Management Console
- On the left side select “Apps”
- Remove the following applications: “Executive Dashboard -Fileloop Demo”, “Country -Sheetloop Demo”, “Reporting Task -Fileloop Demo”, “Reporting Task -Country Demo”
5. Removing the content library
- If you have been using a trial license, then you need to remove the AnalyticsGate content library
- Navigate to the Qlik Management Console
- On the left side select “Content libraries”
- Remove the “AnalyticsGate” content library.
Uninstalling the file system leftovers
1. Removing the certificates and log files
- Navigate to the “Roaming” folder of the user under which the services were running (e. g., “C:\Users\{service user}\AppData\Roaming”)
- Remove the “AnalyticsGate” folder
- If you have been running the tool “AGRSupportTool.bat” as a different user, then you need to remove the “AnalyticsGate” folder in the “Roaming” directory of that user as well.
2. Removing the installation folder
- Navigate to the “Reporting” folder in the installation directory of AnalyticsGate (the default should be the Qlik Share directory “C:\QlikShare\Reporting”)
- Remove the folder “Reporting”
